About

Ana Andón

My interest in psychology grew from a deep curiosity about human beings and the way our experiences, relationships and decisions gradually shape who we are.

My story

My interest in psychology grew from a deep curiosity about human beings and the way our experiences, relationships and decisions gradually shape who we are.

Over time, that interest found a clear purpose: standing alongside people going through moments of change, loss or adjustment, helping them broaden their perspective, recognise their own resources and recover their capacity to choose.

Across more than twenty-five years of clinical practice, my work has been enriched by consultation, research and public engagement—three fields that sustain an ongoing dialogue between professional practice and knowledge.

Today, I continue to learn, research and develop new projects with the same commitment that has guided my career: practising psychology with rigour, deep humanity and respect for each person’s individuality.

Understanding is a form of transformation.

Psychology, to me, listens before interpreting and understands before judging.

It is not only about easing distress, but about understanding the story each person has built, recognising the resources and wisdom they already hold, and supporting them towards greater clarity, freedom and authenticity.

My experience

My work brings together different fields of psychology, connected by the same way of seeing and supporting human beings.

  • Clinical practice.

  • Research.

  • Training.

  • Books and publications.

  • Conferences.

Beyond consultation

Knowledge becomes valuable when it can improve people’s lives.

Consultation is the beginning of a path where knowledge, experiences and encounters can open new possibilities when they are shared.

Alongside my clinical practice, I therefore research, write and develop projects that bring psychology into other spaces and turn what I learn into resources that can support, orient and open new questions.

How we will work

Together, we define the aims of the process and pay attention to both progress and difficulty.

My work combines clinical experience, scientific evidence and a deeply human perspective. Evidence guides the work without replacing your knowledge of yourself.

The aim is to help you build resources, make decisions with greater autonomy and reach a point where you no longer need this space.

Knowledge becomes valuable when it can improve people’s lives.

Alongside my clinical practice, I develop research, publications and practical resources that bring psychological knowledge into everyday life in a clear and accessible way.

An invitation

I believe every person deserves to be understood, because behind each story lies a capacity—sometimes forgotten—to live with greater freedom, awareness and authenticity.

We may not find every answer immediately, but beginning to understand what we are experiencing is already a form of change.
